At Saeta Yield (a Masdar Group company), we are seeking to incorporate a **Control Center Manager** into our Operations team, whose primary responsibilities will be as follows: Develop and manage a Control Center that oversees, coordinates, optimizes, and supervises the real-time operation of the company’s renewable assets, ensuring their availability, performance, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with the requirements of the electricity system operator, manage operational incidents, and guarantee facility availability and performance through the use of SCADA systems, monitoring platforms, and operational protocols. Prepare the company’s transition to a Control Center capable of remotely operating its in-service assets (wind/PV/BESS). Ensure energy metering data is available at the company’s quality standards to enable accurate production monitoring and internal billing processes. **Your main responsibilities will be:** * Develop a Control Center enabling real-time operation of renewable assets. * Lead the implementation and reliability assurance of a Level-2 SCADA system for wind assets and a Level-1 SCADA system for photovoltaic assets. * Integrate new assets constructed by the company. * Continuously monitor the operational status and production output of renewable plants (photovoltaic, wind, etc.) via a Level-2 SCADA system and control platforms. * Ensure compliance with dispatch instructions and system operator requirements, and ensure asset participation in balancing services according to delegated dispatch instructions. * Monitor communications with plant teams and resolve any issues promptly. * Develop internal procedures for operators. * Perform initial incident management according to established protocols. * Provide out-of-hours support for incidents impacting Saeta’s revenues. * Communicate with Grid Control Centers (REE, distribution companies, TSO/DSO) to coordinate switching operations, dispatch instructions, and asset availability. * Record events, incidents, and actions in corporate tools (CMMS, SCADA systems, databases); assign Work Order numbers for maintenance interventions. * Manage remote access to assets. * Analyze Operational KPIs. * Ensure application of Control Center security and cybersecurity protocols. * Maintain full traceability of operational switching actions and communications. * Participate in contingency or recovery drills and tests. * Guarantee correct operation and supervision of all assets under control. * Cybersecurity management. * Detect and report incidents promptly and accurately. * Comply with operational procedures and defined response times. * Coordinate effectively with internal and external technical teams. * Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and operational tools. * Manage billing meter readings: ensure accurate data acquisition and database upload, and manage verification processes with the TSO and DSO. * Define the company’s technical standards for communications and cybersecurity for new assets (wind/PV/BESS). * Monitor production deviations and manage the production forecasting tool. * Collaborate with the Asset Performance Monitoring team to ensure data consistency and quality. **What do you need to succeed in this role?** A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; additional training in electrical systems, communication networks, or SCADA is desirable, along with a good level of English. At least 5 years’ experience in Control Centers or Remote Operation Centers, knowledge of system operator regulations and operational protocols, and hands-on experience with SCADA and telecontrol systems. Additionally, you must possess knowledge of communication systems and industrial protocols, electrical grids and real-time operation, interpretation of communication diagrams, single-line diagrams, and control parameters, as well as expertise in OT network cybersecurity (ISO 27001, NIS2, etc.).
