




We are looking for someone to help us continue paving the way in applied research in cybersecurity for electronic products!! You will become part of the Embedded Systems Cybersecurity team and will have the opportunity to research new mechanisms and solutions, both Hardware and Software, for protecting electronic products. We are looking for creative individuals eager to develop new cybersecurity technologies and apply them to real-world products with the goal of building a safer environment in sectors such as transportation, healthcare, or energy, among others. You will be able to test your developments in IKERLAN's cybersecurity laboratory, equipped with advanced techniques, highly specialized equipment, and recognized methodologies. **What will we offer you?** * You will join a young, professional, and close-knit team, with colleagues possessing extensive track records and experience in the sector, where the technology of the future is clearly felt. * You will have access to highly specialized equipment in a leading-edge cybersecurity laboratory. * You will have access to continuous, high-quality technical training. * An individualized professional development plan. * An indefinite contract from Monday to Friday with flexible working hours and a very attractive calendar. * The possibility to work remotely up to two days per week, and even a third day at one of our offices (Bilbao and Donostia) closer to your home. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Designing and developing electronic-level cybersecurity solutions, both Hardware and Software, for real systems, in collaboration with client companies: + Secure boot supported by dedicated hardware (cryptographic modules, TPM, etc.). + Identification and authentication schemes. + Strengthening operating systems on devices with limited resources. + Cybersecure communications. + Digital certificate management. + Cryptographic solutions. + Cybersecurity event logging. + Cybersecurity update management. * Aligning developed technical solutions with industrial reference regulations and standards (IEC 62443, CRA, RED DA, etc.). * Participating in research projects in collaboration with universities, technological centers, and leading companies at national and European levels. * Evaluating the cybersecurity of implementations in embedded systems using techniques such as Side Channel Analysis or Fault Injection, among others, applying an innovative approach based on Machine Learning and other AI techniques. * Addressing future cybersecurity challenges through the application of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and lightweight cryptography. **Our Ikerlan culture** * The world was not given to us to observe, but to transform. * Technology, our attitude. * A living cooperative project, by and for everyone. * A work philosophy committed to excellence, closeness, and autonomy.
