**We are seeking a Production Planning Technician for our client in the food industry.** The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and optimal production planning, aligning commercial demand with the production capacity of each area. With autonomy in decision-making, the candidate will work closely with the Production and Commercial departments, optimizing processes and ensuring fulfillment of sales commitments, operational efficiency, and business profitability. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Planning and scheduling:** Design daily/weekly plans according to demand and capacity, optimizing resources and minimizing line changeovers. * **Interdepartmental coordination:** Collaborate with Commercial and Production departments to align sales, raw material flow, and real-time adjustments. * **Process and resource optimization:** Balance workloads, coordinate shipments, and minimize waste to maximize performance. * **Analysis and continuous improvement:** Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and promote digitalization and automation of planning. **REQUIREMENTS** * Degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 1–3 years’ experience in plant-based production planning. * Proficiency in planning tools (ERP, APS, advanced Excel). * Analytical skills, decision-making autonomy, and commitment to continuous improvement. * Teamwork ability and effective communication skills. **What does the company offer?** * Permanent contract. * Full-time position with flexibility to adapt to production needs. * Salary: €25,000–€30,000 gross per year, depending on experience and competencies.
