For new projects in the **steel industry**, we require an Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer based in **Vitoria**, reporting to the Operations Director, to intervene in production management (procedures, markings, planning, quality, logistics) and in the development of improvement projects within production plants. Your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities:** * Carry out development across the entire product lifecycle (design, development, test prototypes, manufacturing and implementation) * Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement. * Design and develop new, more efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes. * Implement automation technologies and tools to increase productivity. * Supervise and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical machinery and equipment. * Diagnose and resolve technical issues. * Ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. * Lead continuous improvement projects and new product launches. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resources. * Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. * Establish and monitor quality standards. * Implement quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications. * Promote and ensure workplace safety. * Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and protect employees. **Requirements:** * Technical or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 2\-3 years of experience in industrial companies with production lines, preferably in production, maintenance, planning, or organization. Valued skills: * Experience in commissioning electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and instrumentation. * Experience working with SAP. * Dynamic, consistent, proactive, and capable of learning. * Skilled in handling industrial machinery. * Goal-oriented. * Willingness for continuous technical learning and process improvement. * Teamwork and effective communication. **Location:** * Vitoria
