About the role Are you interested in joining our team and participating in an embedded software project under a hybrid model based in Madrid? We are looking for a senior engineer with extensive experience in TCMS and railway functionality. What will you do on the project? You will strengthen the software team, contributing knowledge throughout the entire V-model development cycle, primarily in requirements definition and architecture. You will also be responsible for new TCMS software projects. Your profile: To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable with: * Engineering degree. * More than 5 years of experience in train control and monitoring systems (TCMS), including system functionality definition, implementation, and validation. * Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software development in railway systems. * Thorough understanding of processes and techniques required by CENELEC 50128 standards, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. * Knowledge of train functionality and operations, including propulsion, braking, and related systems. * Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with departments such as engineering, testing, and quality assurance. * Minimum English level C1.
