Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial design engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical equipment for the glass industry, from concept through to production. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the design and development of industrial equipment. 2. Use CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and detailed drawings. 3. Collaborate on optimizing production, assembly, and maintenance. We are looking for an industrial design engineering professional to join a company located in Los Corrales de Buelna. You will be responsible for the entire industrial equipment design and development process. Your responsibilities will include designing mechanical equipment for the glass industry, covering all stages from initial concept to production. This involves creating 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software, with preference for SolidWorks. Additionally, you will perform material strength calculations and validate designs through simulations, closely collaborating with the manufacturing team to optimize production, assembly, and maintenance. You will also prepare the technical documentation required for manufacturing, installation, and after-sales service. You will coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure designs are viable and efficient, and provide support in resolving technical issues during production and installation, always ensuring compliance with current safety and quality regulations. A long-term project is offered, with an indefinite contract and a salary commensurate with your experience and profile. * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design within the industrial sector, preferably in capital goods or the glass industry. * Proficiency in 3D and 2D design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or others).
