**Job Description:** **Position** ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN FOR ROTATING SHIFTS **Reports to** ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE AND SERVICES SUPERVISOR **Department** MAINTENANCE **Section** **Mission** Preventive and scheduled maintenance of electrical components or equipment. Repair of failures. Supervision of electrical\-electronic installations and equipment. **Main Responsibilities** Repair electrical failures, electronic equipment, components, motors, electrical circuits, and hydraulic systems. Detect failures (including mechanical ones). Perform preventive maintenance on existing electrical and electronic components (maintenance records: weekly, quarterly, annual). Carry out scheduled electrical maintenance during shutdowns (every three weeks, annually). Implement improvements to electrical equipment. Operate and control the transformer substation, both at high and low voltage. Modify PLC and Allen Bradley HMI programs. Maintain the fire protection system. Promote the department’s predictive and preventive maintenance policy as a primary task. Document all corrective actions, modifications, and adjustments in the management system. Compliance with E, H\&S regulations. Knowledge of, application of, and compliance with quality and food safety policies, standards, and all applicable legal requirements. Respond to repair work orders (for failures and/or modifications). **Academic Requirements / Qualifications** Vocational Training Level 2 in Electricity/Electronics or Higher Technical Degree in Electrical\-Electronic Engineering. Knowledge of PLC programming, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Practical knowledge of the installations and equipment on which the technician must operate. Computer literacy. E.H\&S training. Quality and food safety training. **Estimated Professional Experience** Two years
