Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a strategic project in the insurance sector, analyzing and evolving Life and Pension core systems, ensuring alignment between business and technology. Resolution of functional incidents in critical environments At Ibertech, a specialist in technological talent, we are looking for a **Senior Functional Analyst – Life and Pension Insurance (Insurance Core)** to join a strategic project within an insurance entity, under a flexible/remote working arrangement. The selected candidate will integrate into a highly demanding IT environment, actively participating in the analysis and evolution of Life and Pension core systems, ensuring accurate functional definition of solutions, system stability, and business-technology alignment in critical environments. Main Responsibilities: Functional analysis of core systems in the Life and Pension domain Requirements gathering with business stakeholders and definition of functional solutions Participation in implementation, evolution, and maintenance projects for core systems Direct communication with business areas (operations, product, accounting) Coordination with technical teams for change implementation Resolution of functional incidents in critical environments Definition and execution of functional tests User support and guidance in application usage Participation in continuous improvement of processes and systems Requirements: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the insurance sector, especially in Life and/or Pension lines Experience with insurance core systems, particularly **DPI (CAD\-IT)** Experience with **Universe (Rocket Software)** or Multivalue databases Experience with AS400 / IBM i environments and DB2 databases Experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams Experience in incident resolution and evolutionary maintenance Autonomous, analytical, and results-oriented profile Desirable: Experience in insurance core system migrations or implementations Additional knowledge of Life or Pension products Experience with host environments and legacy systems Experience with structured or agile methodologies What We Offer: Indefinite full-time employment contract Participation in a strategic project within the insurance sector Flexible / remote working arrangement Stable, long-term project Open salary range (based on experience) 23 working days of vacation per year Continuous training and professional development If you are looking for a stable, highly specialized project where your expertise in Life and Pension core systems makes a real impact, we want to meet you.
