We are currently seeking a Software Leader who may be based at any of our offices in Madrid, Barcelona (Sant Just Desvern), or Valladolid. Your responsibilities will include technically and operationally leading software development teams, ensuring proper project execution, technical quality of solutions, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with functional, contractual, and business requirements. Main Functions and Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary development teams (backend, frontend, systems, QA). Assign tasks, define priorities, and monitor team work. Resolve technical and organizational blockers. Technical Project Management Oversee solution design, development, integration, and deployment. Ensure compliance with quality, security, and best practice standards. Functional and Contractual Understanding Analyze functional requirements, technical specifications, and contractual documentation. Translate business needs into viable technical solutions. Identify technical risks arising from contracts or project scope. Tracking and Reporting Monitor project progress (timelines, milestones, risks). Report technical status to the Project Manager, Management, or client. Propose action plans in case of deviations. Cross-functional Coordination Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Functional Analysts, and QA. Support pre-sales activities, client meetings, estimations, and scope definition. We seek a candidate capable of translating functional requirements into technical language (and vice versa). Remote work is permitted. Availability to attend installations during non-office hours. Solid software development experience (minimum 5–8 years). Prior experience as a Technical Leader, Tech Lead, or Software Architect. Experience leading medium-to-large teams (5–15 people or more). Experience in complex or mission-critical projects (high availability, real-time, transactional systems). Experience in regulated or contractual environments (public administrations, banking, payments, transportation, etc.).
