We are currently seeking a **Manufacturing Engineer** to join a strategic project linked to nuclear energy—one of the world’s most ambitious scientific and technological programs. You will have the opportunity to participate in the final design phases and manufacturing follow-up of high-complexity electromechanical systems, contributing to the development of essential components for magnetic mitigation and compensation systems of nuclear fusion reactors.**What will be your mission?** ------------------------- As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as the technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project management, ensuring that components and systems are developed in accordance with the project’s technical, regulatory, and quality requirements.### **Your main responsibilities will be:** * Provide technical support for the design and manufacturing of systems: + **Passive Mitigation System (PMS)**. + **Active Correction and Compensation Coils (ACCCs)**. * Participate in the preparation and review of technical specifications for mechanical components associated with ACCCs. * Apply design and manufacturing codes and standards during the final stages of product development. * Perform technical follow-up of manufacturing and assembly activities. * Review and control technical documentation related to: + Manufacturing. + Inspections. + Testing. + Assembly. + Quality. * Supervise production progress and verify compliance with technical and contractual requirements. * Collaborate closely with manufacturers and suppliers across various production stages. * Participate in assembly and integration activities for large industrial components. * Support project planning and management activities when required. **What are we looking for?** ------------------ ### **Essential requirements** * Degree in **Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Manufacturing Engineering**, or equivalent. * English language proficiency at **C1 level**. * **Minimum 8 years of professional experience** in industrial environments or advanced engineering projects. * Demonstrable experience in defining, supervising, and monitoring the manufacturing of metallic components. * Experience working directly with shop-floor manufacturing processes. * Experience in assembly and integration activities for large mechanical or electromechanical assemblies. * Availability to travel approximately twice per month, with trips lasting 3–4 days each. * Ability to work both autonomously and within multidisciplinary international teams. ### **Additionally, you must have at least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:** * Deep drilling. * High-precision (sub-millimetric) machining. * Dimensional inspection and application of **GD\&T**. * Cleaning for ultra-high vacuum (**UHV**) compatibility. * Welding, brazing, and non-destructive testing (**NDT**). * **Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP)** or hot diffusion processes. * Quality control in small- or medium-series production. * Pipe system assembly. ### **Valued technical knowledge** * CATIA V5\. * PLM systems. * ISO and/or EN standards. * RCC\-MRx requirements. * Safety classifications and associated requirements. * Experience reviewing engineering documentation and participating in *design reviews* and
