**Remote Operations Specialist, Barcelona**
**Description and Requirements:**
If you are looking for a new professional challenge, we are seeking a **“Remote Operations Specialist”** to join the Low-Voltage Control Center team in Barcelona.
**Who will you work with?**
You will join the Low-Voltage Control Center in Barcelona. The main tasks carried out in this area are as follows:
* Ensure grid operation by coordinating control centers and managing operational safety processes.
* Provide certification of operational data (assets, events, failures/service quality of the grid).
* Coordinate emergency plans related to electric service quality and report critical events to Global Operations and Maintenance.
* Manage relationships with other distribution and transmission companies for relevant activities.
* Manage responses to cybersecurity incidents within the corresponding perimeter.
**What will you be responsible for?**
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
* Receiving or supervising, as applicable, incident reports or fault notifications from the call center; diagnosing their scope; and directing mobile field teams to carry out switching operations aimed at reducing impact and restoring service promptly, in accordance with established procedures and current legislation.
* Performing any other duties assigned by supervisors—within your professional competencies and level of expertise and in compliance with applicable regulations—as required by operational needs; as well as actively contributing to compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
* Preliminary incident analysis.
* Communication with assigned customers.
* Coordination with LV and MV Control Centers.
* Issuing official communications to regulatory authorities when required.
**What is required?**
The following **mandatory requirements** must be met to perform this role:
* **Education:** Higher Vocational Training Degree, preferably in electricity or a related field.
* **Knowledge:** Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and communication tools (Teams, Yammer).
* **Competencies:** Customer orientation, curiosity, results orientation, simplification, and agility.
The following will be **considered advantageous:**
* **Knowledge:** Power BI, programming languages (e.g., Python and SQL), familiarity with Operational Standards and incident management systems.
* **Professional Experience:** Prior professional experience related to grid operations.
