The Heavy Machinery Operator role is essential to the daily operations of the yard, ensuring efficiency and safety in material handling. This professional will be responsible for operating a fleet of specialized machinery, including telescopic handlers, front-end loaders, multidirectional forklifts, and wheel loaders. Core tasks revolve around loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods and raw materials, always adhering to established safety protocols to prevent accidents and material damage. Additionally, fluent use of digital tools such as tablets or computers is required to record movements, manage inventories, and report incidents; thus, technological proficiency is a valuable asset. This position demands high concentration and precision, as operating large-scale equipment in shared spaces requires skill and constant attention. The worker will serve as a key link in the logistics chain, directly contributing to process optimization and maintaining an organized, productive work environment. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other departments is essential to coordinate activities and meet daily production targets. A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating telescopic handlers, front-end loaders, multidirectional forklifts, and wheel loaders is required. Advanced proficiency in using tablets or computers for digital recordkeeping is mandatory. An ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) diploma is required.
