Description
We are seeking a talented Engine Workshop Technician to join our team, specializing in Aftermarket Service, within the Aftermarket Service Spain Country Support department in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.
This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months. The position will require up to 10% domestic travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Contribute to engine repair performed to high quality standards by supporting cleaning, inspection, disassembly, and assembly tasks, ensuring components are prepared and rebuilt in accordance with company standards.
* Support workshop productivity by assisting in basic repair and maintenance activities, following Standard Repair Times (SRT), documented procedures, and best practices.
* Help improve equipment reliability by supporting modifications to Stamford alternators and conducting inspections and maintenance on Onan generators.
* Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas remain clean, organized, and fully operational.
* Demonstrate attention to detail by accurately completing work records, time sheets, and required service documentation.
* Develop your technical expertise through ongoing training and hands-on learning, acquiring the competencies needed to perform increasingly complex maintenance and repair tasks.
* Promote a strong safety culture by complying with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations, and proactively reporting any risks or incidents.
* Contribute to the overall success of the workshop by supporting a wide range of operational and maintenance activities, helping achieve team objectives, customer satisfaction, and equipment performance.
Education and Experience:
* Secondary education diploma or equivalent.
* English language proficiency at B1/B2 level.
* This position may require authorizations or licenses to comply with export control regulations or international sanctions.
* Minimum workshop experience or foundational knowledge of engine products is required.
* Basic mechanical knowledge.
