We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect with experience in cloud architecture design, data governance, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps), capable of defining technological standards, leading modernization initiatives toward cloud-native environments, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The candidate will participate in defining reference architectures, security, automation, data platforms, and Azure best practices, collaborating closely with infrastructure, data, DevOps, and business teams. The OBJECTIVE of this role is: • Cloud architecture and infrastructure on Azure: Design end\-to\-end architectures on Microsoft Azure, defining standards for infrastructure, networking, security, deployment, and operations of cloud-native and hybrid platforms. • Data governance: Define and implement data governance principles in Azure environments, including catalog, lineage, quality, security, lifecycle, and access control — ensuring regulatory compliance and data consistency across the organization. • FinOps and cloud cost optimization: Lead the FinOps strategy on Azure, promoting cloud spend visibility, resource optimization, rightsizing, architectural efficiency, and financial accountability for technology consumption. • Business and technology strategy alignment: Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to translate functional requirements into robust, efficient architectures aligned with the company’s strategic and financial goals. • Technical leadership and Azure standards: Define and maintain reference architectures, best practices, and reusable patterns in Azure (landing zones, Well\-Architected Framework, security, networking, and data standards). • Platform modernization and evolution: Drive evolution from legacy environments to cloud-native architectures on Azure, promoting modern patterns such as microservices, event\-driven architectures, and advanced data platforms (e.g., data lakehouse). • Collaboration and enablement: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to ensure correct implementation of architectures, promoting automation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
