The role reports to the **Chef**, and in their absence, to the **Station Chef or First/Second Chef**. **As a Kitchen Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:** * Supporting daily kitchen operations in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards. * Collaborating across various Food & Beverage outlets as required. * Performing basic preparations and mise en place tasks under supervision. * Ensuring correct handling, storage, and utilization of ingredients. * Maintaining cleanliness and good condition of work areas, equipment, and utensils. * Complying with Food Hygiene Regulations, HACCP, Safe \& Sound, and FLHSSE standards. * Working collaboratively and respectfully with all hotel teams. **As a Kitchen Assistant, we expect you to have:** * Minimum 1 year of prior experience in kitchens or foodservice environments within luxury hospitality. * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally. * Strong teamwork skills, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Ability to remain calm and organized in dynamic environments. * Commitment to quality, safety, and Mandarin Oriental’s values. **Our Commitment and Benefits** **Learning \& Development.** Your success is our success.
