We are currently seeking a Contract Manager for our Madrid office, supporting the Renewable Business Unit (GBU) in Spain. **Mission** Lead and coordinate the Contract Management function within RGBU Spain, ensuring the definition, negotiation, implementation, and monitoring of the contractual strategy for the company’s projects and activities, while guaranteeing appropriate risk management, contractual compliance, and alignment with Group policies. **Responsibilities** * Define and lead the contractual strategy for RGBU Spain’s projects and activities, in coordination with Development, Construction, O&M, Procurement, and Legal. * Lead negotiations of complex contracts (EPC, BOP, supply, services, transportation, O&M, etc.), ensuring appropriate risk allocation. * Supervise proper contract implementation and management throughout their entire lifecycle. * Advise senior management and project leads on contractual matters and risk management. * Establish and maintain contractual templates aligned with Group standards and local regulations. * Coordinate the management of claims, variations, disputes, and contractual resolution mechanisms. * Ensure contractual consistency across tendering, execution, and operation phases. * Lead contractual relationships with strategic contractors and suppliers. * Define and improve Contract Management processes, tools, and methodologies. * Manage, develop, and coordinate the Contract Management team. * Ensure implementation and compliance with Safety and Health, Diversity, Cybersecurity, Environment, Sustainability, Ethics, and Compliance Policies, as well as defined organizational procedures and processes. * Manage and develop the assigned human team, maximizing its contribution to the organization. Collaborate in defining and implementing Corporate Culture. **Minimum Requirements** * Degree in Mining Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical qualifications. * Over 10 years’ experience in contractual management of industrial or energy projects. * Experience leading teams, managing contracts, negotiating, and administering complex contracts. * Experience in project environments, with exposure to technical-operational activities (engineering, construction, commissioning, or operations) applied to contract management. * Experience in cross-functional roles, supporting Development, Construction, and O&M departments. * Experience coordinating Contract Management teams. * English proficiency level C1/C2. **Mandatory:** * Solid technical and operational foundation in industrial or energy projects, applied to contract management. * Management and negotiation of complex contracts in project environments (EPC, BOP, supply, services, O&M). * Advanced knowledge of contractual models, contractual risk management, and responsibility allocation. * Experience resolving contractual disputes and handling claim mechanisms. * Ability to analyze technical, economic, and schedule impacts arising from contractual events. * Knowledge of applicable contractual and commercial legislation. **Desirable:** * Specialized training in Contract Management or Project Management. * Financial knowledge applied to contract management, including claim analysis, penalties, economic impacts, as well as bonds, guarantees, and insurance associated with contracts. **Committed to Inclusion** At ENGIE, we value and promote diversity and inclusion.
