Position Summary: Lead and coordinate the Logistics Operations unit, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant execution of operational processes, managing resources and maintaining smooth communication. Ensuring regulatory compliance and resource optimization. **Position Mission** Lead and coordinate the Logistics Operations unit team, ensuring efficient, safe, and regulation-compliant execution of all processes related to daily operations. Ensure correct operational and documentary management in goods receipt, storage, order preparation, and dispatch activities, optimizing resources and maintaining smooth communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise daily logistics operations, including receipt, storage, order picking, distribution, and inventory control. * Coordinate management of cargo related to the aviation sector (e.g., aircraft parts, materials, special baggage, sensitive or dangerous loads). * Ensure compliance with applicable logistics, airport, and safety regulations, as well as established internal procedures. * Supervise the proper preparation, review, and archiving of required logistics documentation (delivery notes, transport orders, inventory records, documentation for special cargo, etc.). * Guarantee adherence to operational deadlines and contractual requirements to avoid delays, incidents, or penalties. * Lead and coordinate the assigned team, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining standards of safety, quality, motivation, and commitment. * Manage the team’s daily performance, including tracking and achievement of agreed operational KPIs with customers and internal stakeholders (e.g., safety, productivity, process times). * Participate in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, providing recommendations to ensure proper operations. * Advise and support the team to improve individual and collective performance. * Provide periodic reports on results and operational metrics to the team and management. * Collaborate with customers, internal audits, and regulatory operational reviews, as well as support implementation of resulting action plans. * Ensure strict compliance with airport and safety regulations, including dangerous goods handling and access control. * Support the team in applying safety standards and in identifying and mitigating operational and health-related risks. * Conduct basic investigations of operational incidents within the work area and immediately report any procedural or safety regulation non-compliance. **Required Profile** * Minimum three years’ experience in logistics operations coordination roles. * Professional training or medium/higher education in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related fields is desirable. * Planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. * Communication, impact, and influence capabilities. * Technical knowledge: advanced proficiency in logistics management systems (ERP/WMS), preferably SAP. * High level of English (spoken and written).
