We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a plastics sector company located in Castalla, Alicante. Main responsibilities include providing support on the production line, performing product quality control, and carrying out preventive maintenance of machinery. This involves supervising the production process from the equipment perspective, anticipating possible breakdown-related stoppages, and conducting periodic inspections to prevent failures and extend machinery service life. The role also includes installing and adjusting new equipment, ensuring its safe and efficient operation. Additionally, the position covers corrective maintenance, repairing breakdowns and faults using appropriate tools and techniques. This entails diagnosing problems, monitoring equipment, managing spare parts, and documenting all interventions. It is essential to ensure operations comply with safety regulations and industrial standards, as well as participating in planning and collaborating with the team. Working hours are rotating from Monday to Friday, with morning or afternoon shifts; a night shift from Sunday to Thursday is also included.
