MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Develop and review high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical designs.
Coordinate and conduct electrical studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Harmonic Analysis, Protection Coordination, Arc Flash, Earthing, etc.).
Supervise the design of electrical, control, and communication systems for HVDC and HVAC substations, foundations for offshore wind farms, and offshore structures for renewable energy in general.
Manage interfaces with engineering disciplines, Offshore Installation, Cable Engineering, Operations, and Certification.
Support construction activities, mechanical completion, load-out, transportation, commissioning, and start-up.
Participate in tender processes and technical evaluation of bids.
Draft and review technical specifications within the specific domain.
Manage suppliers, contractors, and technology partners within the specific domain.
Review technical documentation provided by suppliers, contractors, and technology partners.
Manage technical changes and resolution of non-conformities.
Participate in design reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, Design Reviews, and Risk Assessments).
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, certification, and Navantia’s internal procedure requirements.
Support the definition of technical solutions and business development, as well as R\+D\+i projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any specialization)
Training courses to be considered during Phase 1 (Merit Competition) related to the position to be filled:
Design of Floating Structures
Electricity
WORKING CONDITIONS
**Entry Level:** Minimum D2
**Contract Type:** Permanent
The selected candidate shall perform duties under the working hours regime applicable to the assigned position, which may include standard working hours, shift work, or any other special working hour arrangements stipulated in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
