Therefore, we seek a Linux systems engineer with strong networking fundamentals—someone who can grasp the environment holistically and navigate confidently across different technologies. We do not seek someone ultra-specialized in a single tool. We seek technical judgment, diagnostic ability, and a cross-functional mindset. What you’ll do daily **This role combines operations, evolution, and support. Specifically:** Systems * Administration and operation of Linux and Windows systems. * Management of infrastructure services: * DNS, DHCP, Nginx… * Email (Postfix…) * Web services (Apache, Tomcat, IIS…) * Working with containerized environments and orchestration (Kubernetes). * Interaction with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server. * Integration with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP). Communications and Security * Operations and support for network and security infrastructures. * Working with firewalls and perimeter security solutions (Check Point, Forti). * Network and service monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus). * Analysis of incidents where systems and networking intersect (which constitute the majority). Operations * Participation in well-organized and appropriately sized on-call shifts. * Resolution of incidents and support for critical environments. * Collaboration with other technical teams on complex diagnostics. What we seek in you * Education in \\\*\\\*Vocational Training (Higher Level)????\\\*\\\*Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field). * Experience working with Linux and Windows in production environments. * Solid foundation in communications and networking. * Practical experience or knowledge of several of the following areas: * DNS, email, web services * Apache, Nginx * Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins * Oracle and/or SQL databases * Active Directory * Check Point and Fortinet firewalls * Ability to work across varied environments without hesitation to step outside “your” technology. * Availability for on-call duties.
