Internship in the Mechanical Procurement Department

**Company Description** Bosch Manufacturing Solutions is a department responsible for building machines and assembly lines for other Bosch Group factories; our procurement department handles all purchasing activities related to the construction projects of these machines. Although it is a procurement department, there is substantial technical involvement, as approximately 90% of the parts we commission for manufacturing are prototypes, and we frequently need to clarify tolerances, dimensions, and other specifications on drawings with various mechanical suppliers. Experience shows that by the end of the internship, students gain valuable hands-on experience in mechanical manufacturing processes, tolerances, and commercially available raw materials—excellent preparation for their future careers. **Job Description** * Gain an overview of procurement processes * Prepare documentation for material submissions to mechanical suppliers * Confirm and track delivery dates for machining orders * Update new payment terms in SAP * Prepare supplier quotation comparisons for machining services * Negotiate and award machining orders * Maintain physical and digital archives of orders * Collect, issue, and send technical evaluations to mechanical suppliers * Request and interpret technical quotations **Requirements** * Industrial Organization Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering * Microsoft Office * Proficiency in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Inventor) drawing software, material selection, and structural calculations * Basic knowledge of CNC machining (desirable) * Basic knowledge of part manufacturing (desirable) * English language proficiency (intermediate level), in addition to Spanish fluency * Outgoing personality—frequent communication and contact with suppliers is required * Organized and responsible * Communicative and proactive **Additional Information** **Internship Duration:** 6 months **Stipend:** 700€ gross (full-time, 35 hours/week)
