We seek a **Data Analyst** who wants to go beyond analysis: someone capable of turning data into strategic decisions that drive fundraising and support for those who need it most. Drive decisions that change lives.
**Your Mission**
* Lead the organization’s analytics function, acting as a bridge between marketing and fundraising needs and their technical implementation, with the goal of transforming data into actionable knowledge that drives decision-making and maximizes the impact of fundraising and donor retention initiatives.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of the organization’s databases, identify trends, enhance and enrich segmentation systems, and build predictive or multi\-variable correlation models.
**Your Responsibilities**
**1\. Analytics Leadership**
* Holistically lead the organization’s analytics function, ensuring alignment with strategic marketing \& fundraising priorities.
* Serve as the liaison between fundraising programs and technology, translating acquisition and retention needs into analytical solutions and data products.
* Proactively identify opportunities where data use can improve performance, optimize resources, or generate new value streams.
**2\. Insight Generation and Decision Support**
* Design and execute advanced campaign analyses to identify trends, learnings, and levers for improvement.
* Support fundraising and marketing teams in analyzing campaign performance (acquisition, retention, prospecting), delivering actionable insights.
* Participate in annual and multi-year planning processes, performance tracking, and data-driven objective setting.
* Identify revenue, conversion, retention, and lifetime value improvement opportunities through analysis of donor and supporter behavior.
**3\. Data Product Development and Reporting**
* Design, develop, and maintain the reporting and dashboard ecosystem (Power BI), establishing a single, reliable source of truth to empower organizational decision-making.
* Automate and enhance data extraction, transformation, and visualization processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
* Ensure reliable, up-to-date information is available for real-time decision-making.
**4\. Advanced Modeling and Predictive Analytics**
* Develop and maintain analytical and statistical models (ROI, LTV, churn, propensity, segmentation, etc.) to optimize investment and strategy decisions.
* Lead data activation through supporter and donor profiling initiatives, advanced segmentation, and predictive models applied to campaigns.
* Collaborate with external vendors on implementing advanced models (propensity, scoring, etc.), serving as functional owner and key point of contact.
**5\. Data Governance and Quality**
* Define and maintain a data governance framework, ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability across the organization.
* Establish common, reliable metrics and definitions enabling consistent business performance interpretation.
* Guarantee data quality in core systems (especially CRM), along with proper documentation of processes, reports, and integrations.
**6\. Data Culture and Capacity Building**
* Promote a data\-driven culture across the organization, enabling data use in decision-making at all levels.
* Train business teams on interpreting and using dashboards, metrics, and analytical models.
* Drive adoption of best practices in data analysis and campaign measurement.
**7\. Innovation, Benchmarking, and International Collaboration**
* Stay current on fundraising and analytics sector trends, incorporating best practices and success cases.
* Collaborate with international teams and vendors on benchmarking projects, LTV analysis, and investment optimization.
* Support experimentation and launch of new campaigns or techniques, ensuring accurate measurement and evaluation.

**Education and Knowledge:**
* University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or postgraduate) in **Data Science**, **Business Intelligence**, or **Business Analytics**.
* Specific training in **Information Security** and **GDPR** is highly valued.
* **Essential knowledge and experience** in using and managing various cloud-based customer data storage, exploitation, and visualization platforms such as **Salesforce** and **Marketing Cloud**.
* Advanced knowledge of data analytics platforms such as **Power BI**, **Power Query**, **Power Pivot**, and/or **CRM Analytics (Tableau)**; familiarity with other tools such as **QlikView** is also valued.
* Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in **SQL**.
* Expert-level proficiency in **Microsoft Office 365**.
* **English** – Professional level, both spoken and written.
* Native or equivalent fluency in **Spanish**.
**Experience and Competencies:**
* **Minimum 3–5 years’ experience** in similar roles supporting planning and decision-making processes, responding effectively to marketing and fundraising program requirements, and enriching their **analytical approaches** with new strategic and methodological proposals.
* Experience handling, cross-referencing, and analyzing large-scale databases from diverse sources and stored across different repositories; BI and data analytics systems; **CRM Technology** consulting; **Marketing / CRM** sector.
* Experience in third-sector organizations is highly valued.
