Would you like to join a company that is transforming infant nutrition?
At **SMILEAT**, we believe another way to feed the youngest children is possible: with organic ingredients, honest recipes, and a genuine commitment to families and the planet.
We are looking for a person to join our **Procurement** team who enjoys organizing, negotiating, and anticipating business needs—someone who understands that behind every raw material, every packaging item, and every order, there are thousands of families trusting us.
What will be your mission?
You will be a key player in ensuring that essentials never run out: from raw materials to all necessary supplies required for our products to arrive on time, at the highest quality, and in full compliance with our standards.
You will work closely with the **Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics** teams to ensure efficient sourcing and contribute to delivering our products to families at the right moment.
What will you do on a daily basis?
* Manage procurement of raw materials, finished goods, and auxiliary materials (packaging, labels, shipping materials, etc.).
* Maintain close relationships with our suppliers, ensuring quality, availability, and adherence to delivery timelines.
* Monitor stock levels and inventories to guarantee supply continuity without compromising efficiency.
* Calculate safety stock levels, optimize minimum order quantities (MOQ), and manage lead times.
* Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Logistics to align procurement with actual demand.
* Ensure proper management of expiration dates and product rotation (FIFO), especially critical in organic infant nutrition.
* Resolve supplier-related issues promptly and proactively, always seeking the best solution.
* Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory management processes to support sustainable growth.
We’d love to meet you if…
* You have at least **3 years of experience** in a procurement role, ideally within the food industry.
* You have experience using **Excel** and at least one **ERP system** (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Delsys, or similar).
* You can communicate in **English (B2 level or higher)** with international suppliers.
* You enjoy analyzing data to make better decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
* You are organized, solution-oriented, proactive, and autonomous.
* You enjoy teamwork and collaborating across different business areas.
What do we offer?
* Full-time permanent contract.
* Competitive compensation package including a flexible benefits plan.
* Up to **60 days of flexible remote work per year**.
* Flexible working hours to support work–life balance.
* Continuous training and real opportunities for professional development.
* Employee discounts.
* Offices located on Madrid’s bustling Gran Vía.
* Summer intensive working schedule.
* On-site physiotherapy service.
* Employer-sponsored participation in races and sporting events.
* And above all, the opportunity to grow alongside a company transforming infant nutrition.
Why Smileat?
* We seek people who want to be part of something more than just a job.
* Curious individuals eager to learn and contribute.
* People who enjoy teamwork and tackling new challenges.
* Individuals who wish to help build a project with positive impact.
* If this resonates with you, **we’d love to meet you!**
