Calibration of process instrumentation and troubleshooting **Job Description** Veolia Servicios Lecam, within its Wastewater Division, requires hiring an Electromechanical Technician for technical services, primarily covering the regions of Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, and Madrid. The selected candidate will work itinerantly across various assigned wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), serving as the electromechanical technical reference at each facility. Main responsibilities include: * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on pumping equipment and hydraulic systems at WWTPs: inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, repair, and commissioning of water pumps (centrifugal, submersible, dosing, screw-type, etc.), verifying performance, electrical consumption, and flow rates. * Maintaining process equipment specific to wastewater treatment plants in optimal condition: electric motors, gearboxes, agitators, blowers, clarifiers, dewatering units, screens, motorized gates, and actuation systems, ensuring continuous plant operation. * Maintaining and inspecting electrical panels, automation systems, and control systems, including identifying and resolving faults in frequency inverters, motor starters, PLCs, protective relays, and SCADA systems, guaranteeing electrical safety of installations and proper functioning of plant automation. * Maintaining and calibrating process instrumentation and measurement equipment commonly used in WWTPs: electromagnetic flowmeters, level sensors, dissolved oxygen analyzers, turbidimeters, pH and redox probes, pressure switches, and pressure transmitters, ensuring measurement reliability for correct operation and control of the purification process. * Keeping the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) up to date by completing work orders with details of interventions performed, materials used, execution times, and equipment status, as well as monitoring and tracking critical spare parts inventory at each facility. * Responding to and resolving alarms, failures, and technical incidents across assigned facilities, performing on-site diagnosis, planning required interventions, and managing necessary spare parts to minimize impact on plant operations.
