Opportunity to be part of an environmentally purpose-driven project We are looking for a mechanical operator to work at a Burgos ecopark dedicated to waste treatment and valorization. The main responsibility is to maintain industrial facilities, ensuring all machinery and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role is critical to preventing interruptions in composting and purification processes, thereby contributing to more responsible environmental management. The contract is temporary and part-time, with direct impact on environmental preservation. Daily responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Welding, repairs, and continuous improvements are also carried out in a dynamic industrial environment. Adaptability is required to resolve incidents occurring in pre-treatment, composting, and purification stages, always adhering to safety protocols for working at heights, in confined spaces, or under biological risk. Industrial sector knowledge is valued, though prior experience is not required. We seek individuals interested in technical maintenance and eager to join a clearly environmentally purpose-driven project, where each day contributes positively to the community. No prior work experience is required. Completion of Medium or Higher Vocational Training in industrial fields—such as mechanics, electricity, or maintenance—is considered advantageous. Knowledge of and/or interest in industrial maintenance is desired. Essential qualities include teamwork capability, adaptability to rotating shifts and possible on-call duties, and willingness to learn and apply industrial safety protocols across various environments.
