MECHANICAL ENGINEER FOR PROJECTS & PIPING

International technician with 35 years of experience delivering satisfaction in the development of Engineering Services Projects. The Téciman team’s approach is reflected in the work we are currently carrying out for our clients. We require a **MECHANICAL PROJECT & PIPING ENGINEER** in Burgos for new Industrial Engineering projects across various sectors. **Responsibilities** * Project monitoring and development from basic engineering through to commissioning and start-up. * Review of documentation issued by engineering. * Supervision of construction works. * Field measurements, isometric design, equipment installation. * Validation and integration of As-built documentation. * Interpretation of P\&ID drawings (piping and instrumentation diagrams). * Interpretation of single-line diagrams and isometric drawings. * Support in reviewing and validating CAD drawings and plans according to project requirements. * Support in managing technical documentation related to the project. * Other tasks as requested by the department: * Preparation of tender dossiers for procurement of equipment, valves, piping, supports, insulation, and technical services. * Document management using internal project management systems (proprietary system / SAP). * Planning and monitoring of execution, management of ATs (Technical Approvals), coordination among various contractors and involved departments. **Requirements** * Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent / Higher Technical Degree. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role; chemical sector or Oil \& Gas preferred. * Mandatory experience in piping, mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, and equipment. * Knowledge of chemical process schematics (interpretation and representation of components), P\&ID, isometrics (valves, instrumentation, etc.). * MS Project or similar software knowledge will be valued. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or Eplant Piping. * Familiarity with Office suite and SAP. * Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Competencies** * Teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement, communication. * Rigor and methodology in daily work. * Ability to work autonomously. * Ability to work under stress. **Languages** * English level B2, with sufficient competence to attend meetings and prepare documentation. * French level B1 or higher will be valued. **Workplace** * Burgos.
