We are seeking a CIP-CCD/Reagents Assistant Operator to join our team at Salares Norte. Purpose To efficiently support the operation of critical processes at the processing plant, ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards. Your direct contribution ensures continuity of the gold and silver extraction process, significantly impacting the efficiency and quality of Gold Fields Chile’s mining operations. The primary challenge is maintaining high levels of control and precision under demanding environmental conditions, such as the site’s high geographical altitude. This requires balancing operational accuracy with strict procedural adherence while managing logistical and resource constraints. **In this role, your key responsibilities will include:** Supporting the operation and monitoring of equipment and facilities associated with CIP, CCD, and reagent preparation/dosing processes. Controlling operational variables such as pulp density, pulp flow rate, residence time, carbon concentration, and rake levels. Ensuring operational continuity through equipment monitoring, deviation detection, and support during operational maneuvers. Performing cleaning and housekeeping of equipment, structures, and work areas. Who Are We Looking For? **Education:** Graduate of a Technical Secondary or Higher Education program in Mining Processes, Metallurgy, or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in mining operations, specifically in mineral processing plants, focused on gold and silver leaching processes. **Knowledge:** Operation and monitoring of CIP and CCD equipment; control of operational variables in leaching processes; knowledge of mining risk prevention techniques; understanding of environmental impacts in mining operations; knowledge and experience operating mobile and fixed equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts). **Skills:** Must have performed CIP and CCD process equipment operation and monitoring, control of operational variables in leaching plants, maintenance of safety and environmental standards, and identification and reporting of deviations in mining operations.
