




Job Summary: Ingeteam is seeking a Control Technician to develop PLC-based control applications for frequency converters, including design, programming, validation, and HMI interfaces. Engineering education and experience in PLC and HMI programming. **Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, seeks to incorporate **a Control Technician** at its Zamudio facilities to develop **PLC-based control applications** focused on **frequency converters**. The selected candidate will participate in design, programming, and subsequent validation phases, including the development of HMI interfaces. **Responsibilities:** * Programming and development of **PLC** applications for frequency converter control. * Design and implementation of **fieldbus communication systems** (EtherCAT, Profibus, Profinet, CANopen, etc.). * Development of **Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)** for system monitoring and control. * Commissioning, tuning, and functional testing in laboratory and/or plant environments. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in electronics, project management, and commissioning. * Technical documentation of developments and support throughout the product lifecycle. **Minimum Requirements:** * Degree in **Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field**. * Demonstrable experience in **PLC programming** (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Codesys, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or similar). * Solid knowledge of **fieldbuses** and industrial communication protocols. * Experience in **HMI development** and SCADA systems. * Basic knowledge of **power electronics and electric machine control**. * Ability to work effectively in a team and results-oriented mindset. * Intermediate/advanced level of technical English (desirable). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of **motor vector control**, or speed regulation using frequency converters and power electronics. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. **We Offer:** * Integration into an innovative, leading organization in Power System Automation, contributing to the energy model transition and impacting triple sustainability (social, environmental, and economic). * State-of-the-art, up-to-date work processes. * High-performance team environment. * International working environment. * Opportunity to gain experience performing dynamic tasks. * Flexible working hours and other work-life balance benefits. * Compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
