We seek someone who can bring deep technical expertise, leadership in decision-making, and the ability to coordinate complex initiatives within a technology ecosystem critical to our clients. The role is based in Spain under a hybrid work model, combining remote and office-based work, where you can generate meaningful synergies with your team. Residency in Spain and valid Spanish work authorization are mandatory. Responsibilities * Advanced administration of DB2 for z/OS environments, ensuring performance, availability, and continuous optimization. * Leading the definition, design, and deployment of mainframe solutions aligned with client needs. * Analyzing and resolving high-impact incidents, guaranteeing platform stability. * Technical coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper evolution of the mainframe ecosystem. Accountabilities * Defining standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for DB2 for z/OS environments, ensuring quality, security, and scalability. * Driving mainframe system modernization initiatives, including automation, query optimization, and data modeling. * Managing and providing technical support to teams, promoting appropriate task allocation and ensuring achievement of departmental objectives. * Participating in critical technical decision-making, assessing risks and proposing solutions based on advanced mainframe and relational database expertise.
