Top Employer Europe 2026 **Job Description** We are seeking a **Senior Appian Developer** to build fast, scalable, and efficient solutions using the Appian platform. **Responsibilities** * Design and develop applications leveraging Appian’s various capabilities. * Lead other development team members in design, development, and implementation. * Lead peer code reviews and technical meetings with other teams. * Resolve problems of significant scope and complexity and mentor less-experienced developers. * Contribute to team growth through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge transfer. * Drive continuous evolution of Appian best practices within the development team. * Deploy applications meeting business needs while adhering to high-level architectural standards, ensuring quality and performance. * Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. **Requirements** **Technical Skills** * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Appian projects. * Strong knowledge of Appian SAIL and process modeling. * Proven experience developing integrations with other systems (consuming/exposing REST/SOAP APIs, creating plugins, etc.). * Solid understanding of UX design principles and ability to apply them when building applications/solutions. * Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.). * Experience with version control and deployments using Appian. * Demonstrable ability to design and evaluate application performance and optimize code. * Ability to analyze error logs, monitoring data, and performance metrics, as well as identify and resolve errors and issues. **Other Skills** * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Strong communication skills. * Appian certifications are a plus.
