Job Summary: We are seeking an engineer specialized in power electrical systems to perform electrical calculations and grid code compliance studies. Key Responsibilities: 1. The candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience performing electrical calculations and grid code compliance studies for power electrical systems, and will join Boslan’s Generation and Networks Unit Substations T&D team to carry out activities such as: * Modeling and simulation of static and dynamic power electrical systems. * Development of RMS and EMT models. * Load flow studies and stability analysis. * Power quality studies (flicker, harmonics, unbalances). * Reactive power compensation studies. * Load flow studies and stability analysis. * Network contingency studies (N and N-1). * Short-circuit studies. * Insulation coordination studies. * Protection coordination studies. * Technical support to customers regarding electrical studies. This position can be performed in a hybrid mode from any of the following locations: Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza, Alicante, Castellón. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Technical Engineering Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Minimum Experience: At least 4 years in a similar role. Minimum Knowledge: * Minimum of 4 years’ experience conducting grid code compliance studies. * Knowledge of Spanish, IEC, and IEEE electrical standards. * Knowledge of the Spanish Grid Code. * Advanced proficiency in DigSilent. * Advanced proficiency in PSSE. * Advanced proficiency in PSCAD. * English proficiency at C1 level or higher. Desirable Knowledge: * Familiarity with European grid codes. * Proficiency in other electrical calculation software (ETAP, dmELECT, CDEGS, etc.). * Experience in grid code compliance studies for Data Center or BESS projects. * Knowledge of substation control and protection systems. * Experience in designing and calculating substation protection settings.
