An urban mobility company based in Madrid is looking to hire an **Insurance Manager** to structure and lead the claims and policy function for a professional fleet. The role will be responsible for implementing procedures, operational coordination with insurance companies, adjusters, and repair shops, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure vehicle availability, cost control, and service quality. The scope of the role includes **end-to-end claims management**, from initiation to closure, including reporting, coordination with all parties involved, managing assessments, analyzing discrepancies, and reopening claims when necessary. It involves **technical and financial negotiation** with insurers (premiums, coverage, deductibles) as well as **management of the repair shop network** (terms, repair schedules, replacement vehicles, and quality standards verified upon delivery). The position centralizes **policy administration**—new policies, cancellations, endorsements, certificate issuance, invoice tracking—and maintains an up-to-date insured fleet inventory. On the analytical side, the role develops and maintains a **dashboard** featuring metrics such as claim frequency, average cost per claim, downtime per case, recovery ratio, and compliance with deadlines committed to third parties. Based on this data, **improvement and prevention plans** are created (internal protocols, driving recommendations, guidelines for early incident reporting), along with periodic reports to senior management containing conclusions and prioritized actions. Close collaboration with operations and maintenance teams is expected to anticipate impacts and optimize vehicle return-to-service times. **Previous experience of 3 to 5 years** in Auto/Fleet claims management within brokerage firms, insurance companies, rental car companies, VTC/taxi services, or large corporate clients is required, with practical knowledge of **damage assessment and compensation standards**, routine handling of insurance documentation, and proven ability in **negotiating with insurers and repair workshops**. Strong operational proficiency in **Excel** and management/CRM tools for data processing and claim traceability is essential. A **Level 2 Insurance Distribution Certification** (formerly Group B) and familiarity with compliance and data protection frameworks will be valued. The work environment is **collaborative and agile**, with **real potential for team growth** as processes and volume expand. The **salary is fixed and competitive**, commensurate with experience and responsibility, and includes continuous training and performance resources (tools and contracted providers).
