Job description Mission: Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects he/she leads within his/her operating area, based on established standards and procedures, developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client. They are responsible for design, development, implementation and updating of internal IT applications (development can be in software, “desktop” technology, web technology, network security, messaging, mainframe, etc.) and planning, development, production, training and updating of related technical documentation. The duties include evaluating, programming, and assigning resource development projects; researching user needs; writing, testing and maintaining computer programmes; planning, development and implementation of web applications and e-commerce; and preparation of documentation and training systems. This includes development, programming and configuration of end user applications, systems software, databases or the organisation’s specific web sites for use of internal employees or for marketing, communications or sales (including web sites for e-commerce) aimed at external audiences.
