From our Technical Department, we are seeking a **Backend Engineer** to join our office in Santomera (Murcia). If you are looking for a stable, challenging, and continuously evolving technological project within a company that values people, diversity, and professional growth, this is your opportunity. **Responsibilities:** -------------- * Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services. * Implement and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs for communication between systems and applications. * Manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability. * Collaborate with frontend, QA, and IoT teams to integrate new features and enhance existing ones. * Participate in defining software architectures and technical decision-making. * Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvements. * Resolve advanced-level technical incidents (N2/N3 support) related to the backend platform. * Contribute to process and deployment automation using CI/CD tools. * Document developments, processes, and internal best practices. **Requirements:** --------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 1 year of experience in backend development. * Solid knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: **Python, Spark**. * Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). * Prior experience with frameworks such as **Django, Spring Boot, Express, .NET Core**, etc. is desirable. * Knowledge of containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable. * Experience in IoT or Industry 4.0 environments is desirable. * Experience developing APIs and microservices is desirable. * Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable. **Required Profile:** --------------------- * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Proactive individual with strong resolution skills and the ability to overcome technical challenges. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across departments. * Strong communication skills and a quality-oriented mindset toward software development. * Capacity to adapt to new technologies and work methodologies. **What We Offer:** ---------------------- * Indefinite-term contract. * Working hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00; Friday 08:00–14:00. * Opportunity to join a multinational leader in its sector, with strong growth prospects. * Work in a collaborative environment surrounded by colleagues who will support your professional development. * Participation in innovative projects with real impact on international markets.
