The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and driving high-capacity forklifts in field and agricultural environments. Key responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of these industrial vehicles, including loading and unloading materials from trucks, trailers, and platforms. Constant attention to safety is required to prevent accidents and damage to cargo, facilities, and other workers. Work takes place outdoors under varying weather conditions, demanding adaptability and caution while operating.
Job performance involves the precise movement and placement of large loads and materials at specific locations on site, following given instructions and work plans. A basic daily inspection of the machine must be conducted before starting the work shift, checking fluid levels, fuel, and the proper functioning of all systems. This preventive maintenance process helps ensure operational safety and continuity of logistics operations.
This role is essential within the logistics chain of an agro-industrial company, supporting storage, internal distribution, and order preparation activities. Teamwork and smooth communication with other operators and coordination staff are key to optimal performance. Direct hiring is offered with a permanent full-time contract, working Monday to Friday on an intensive schedule and occasionally on Saturdays. Salary will be set according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
A valid forklift operator license with officially certified training and at least one year of demonstrable experience operating large forklifts is required. Proficiency and experience driving on uneven terrain or open fields are essential, as well as holding a valid Class B driver's license and having personal transportation for commuting.
