**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agriculture, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Field Technician to implement conservation best practices aimed at reducing threats to critically endangered species in Zaragoza. **Workplace** -------------------- * Zaragoza **Responsibilities and Tasks** ---------------------- * Conducting activities to reduce the impact of the invasive American mink on the European mink. * Live trapping, monitoring, and trapping using floating platforms within the European mink’s distribution area. * Installing traps, performing periodic inspections, and maintaining them. * Completing work forms. * Other fieldwork-related tasks. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by undergoing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documents verifying the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for the position offered. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Spanish Baccalaureate (BUP/COU), Vocational Training Level I (FP I) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM), Vocational Training Level II (FP II) or Higher-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) (officially recognized in Spain), or possess academic and/or professional experience supported by an employment contract lasting at least six months in a relevant profession (aligned with the position offered) and/or related to the duties described. ### **Prior Experience** * Minimum three months of employment-contract-based experience in wildlife monitoring. ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Availability to undertake field assignments requiring up to 50% of working time spent traveling. * Valid Spanish Class B driving license (valid and in force). * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (to be verified during technical assessment). * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (to be verified during technical assessment). **Merit-Based Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * At least 2,000 hours of training in environmental fields. ### **Prior Experience** * From three months to one year of academic and/or employment-contract-based experience in controlling the American mink and/or monitoring the European mink using floating platforms (to be verified during technical assessment). ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Proficiency in operating all-terrain vehicles (to be verified during technical assessment). * Prior employment-contract-based experience with public companies or institutions. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at seven months’ duration, extendable up to a maximum total of nine months if applicable. + Full-time schedule.
