Assemble sections, pipes, and connecting devices for piping systems. Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks. Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications. Study construction plans and inspect structures to plan installations. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required angle. Install and maintain piping assemblies, connectors, valves, appliances, and fixtures. Perform various minor repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs, and respond accordingly. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with others. Communicate clearly and professionally. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 75 pounds or less without assistance. Assist in moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing over 100 pounds. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights. Reach above head and below knees, including stooping, twisting, pulling, and bending. Climb up and down ladders. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: Certification from a technical, trade, or vocational school. Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
