A company in the extraction/mining sector is seeking to hire a **Heavy Machinery Mechanic** / **Electromechanic** to carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on our equipment. We are looking for a highly autonomous and solution-oriented professional who ensures operational continuity and safety at our facilities. Main Responsibilities * **Diagnosis and repair** of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures in heavy mining machinery. * Execution of **preventive and corrective maintenance**, following manufacturer guidelines. * Interpretation of **electrical and hydraulic schematics**, and use of diagnostic software. Candidate Requirements * **Minimum Education:** Medium or Higher Vocational Training (FP) in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum **2 years of demonstrable experience** in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery (preferably in mining, quarries, or public works). * **Technical Knowledge:** Advanced proficiency in electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Desirable: Specialized training in mobile mining machinery, PRL (Occupational Risk Prevention), and mining machinery operator’s license.
