As a personnel recruitment consultant, we are seeking a **Quality Technician** specialized in providing technical support to marketing and production companies in the fruit and vegetable sector for one of our clients in the quality assurance and control industry. **Responsibilities and Functions** --------------------------------- * Conduct quality checks and inspections on fruit and vegetable products in compliance with current regulations and client specifications. * Verify on-site, both in the field and at handling facilities, adherence to quality protocols and requirements. * Maintain direct communication and provide periodic reports to clients, suppliers, and team managers. * Participate in organizing routes and visits through daily videoconferences to plan efficient and coordinated work. * Gather information on trends and variables that could affect quality: seasonality, adverse weather conditions, etc. * Record all incidents and inspections conducted using mobile applications (client app) and state-of-the-art devices. * Carry out process controls and internal audits at supplier sites according to technical competencies. ### **Requirements** * University or vocational training in Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Environmental Sciences, or related fields within the fruit and vegetable sector. * Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the agri-food industry is desirable. * Knowledge of quality regulations and certifications such as IFS, BRC, Global Gap, as well as familiarity with product specifications and tolerances based on destination. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, video calls, and mobile applications. * Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to perform itinerant or mobile work. * Availability for frequent travel within the province and occasionally to neighboring provinces. * Valid class B driver's license. #### **Working Conditions and Benefits** * Type of contract: Initial 6-month term \+ possibility of conversion to permanent. * Salary commensurate with experience, value, and contribution to the role. * Company vehicle and coverage of additional expenses/allowances provided by the organization. * 40-hour weekly working schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00–7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, adjusted according to seasonal campaigns and industry demands. You will become part of a team visiting suppliers (handling facilities) and producers (farms) in the fruit and vegetable sector to ensure excellence in origin quality, working directly with leading companies distributing to European supermarkets.
