A position is available for a Nursing Assistant (TCAE), with responsibilities focused on supporting the team in reception and welcoming new residents, as well as developing individualized care plans. Daily tasks include assisting with preventive, occupational, and leisure activities; maintaining residents' personal hygiene; and managing cleaning of the first-aid kit and medical or assistive equipment. You will also be responsible for providing and administering food, facilitating intake when necessary, and handling meal reception and delivery to residents' rooms. The role involves performing posture changes and auxiliary services according to technical training, collaborating with nursing staff on repositioning bedridden residents and supporting their clinical examinations. Additionally, you will assist residents in preparing for transfers by providing accompaniment, supervision, and support. Regarding medication, you will collaborate with healthcare staff in its administration and, under nursing supervision, provide care for residents with colostomies or catheters, as well as administer food via syringe. In the absence of a nurse, you may perform blood glucose testing and use the subcutaneous route for insulin and heparin administration, provided dosage is controlled by a physician or nurse. Finally, you will accompany residents in activities aimed at maintaining or improving their physical and motor abilities—whether during medical appointments, excursions, or errands—encouraging their active participation. You will also collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate family members. The contract is temporary.
