Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centers

Company
Description
**Who Are We?** We are a young company with extensive prior experience and currently in a growth phase. At **Quark**, we design infrastructures to digitally connect the world in a secure, efficient, and sustainable way—delivering engineering, project/contract management (PM/CM), and consulting services. Our early specialization and continuous commitment to adopting technological advancements have established us as an internationally recognized company, distinguished by the talent, quality, and innovation of each of our projects. Every Data Center we develop involves highly demanding technical decisions: how to guarantee service continuity, how to ensure true redundancy, and how to integrate electrical systems with architecture, mechanical systems, or control systems—without margin for error. This is where the electrical team plays a key role. To strengthen our team, we seek to hire a **Senior Electrical Engineer** with experience in designing electrical systems for Data Centers or other high-criticality environments, who wishes to continue developing expertise on complex, high-impact projects. **What Will Your Responsibilities Be?** * **Electrical Design for Data Centers** You will participate in developing critical medium- and low-voltage electrical infrastructure designs, including distribution architectures, UPS systems, backup power generation, electrical panels, and critical power distribution systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS). You will contribute to defining design criteria, redundancy strategies, availability, maintainability, and energy efficiency, as well as integration with other disciplines. * **Electrical Calculations and Studies:** You will develop and review electrical calculations associated with the design: load balancing, equipment sizing, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, voltage drop analysis, harmonic analysis, and grounding systems. You will ensure technical consistency of the system and compliance with service continuity requirements. * **Development of Technical Documentation** You will prepare and review project technical documentation: single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, specifications, data sheets, load lists, drawings, and technical reports. You will also participate in the technical review of documentation provided by suppliers and contractors. * **Technical and Multidisciplinary Coordination:** You will collaborate with teams in architecture, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, control/BMS, civil engineering, structural engineering, and commissioning—ensuring proper integration of the electrical design within the overall Data Center. You will participate in technical meetings with clients and other project stakeholders. * **Technical Management of Electrical Packages:** You may assume responsibility for electrical work packages within national and international projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, quality, and client requirements. Depending on your experience, you may coordinate tasks performed by other engineers, reviewing deliverables and providing technical support. * **Regulations and Standards:** You will ensure designs comply with applicable regulations and sector-specific Data Center standards (IEC / EN, REBT, TIA‑942, Uptime Institute, NFPA / NEC), adapting to the specific requirements of each client and project. **How Will You Do It?** You will join an integrated team composed of professionals with diverse academic backgrounds and varied experiences—enabling you to develop an interesting and enriching perspective. Simultaneously, we offer a Development Program focused on functional mentoring, enabling you—within the short-to-medium term—to perform your duties and lead your projects autonomously. **What Do You Need to Fit In?** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. * Relevant experience (**at least 6 years**) in designing electrical installations, particularly in complex or critical environments. * Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems. * Experience designing systems with redundancy, availability, and service continuity requirements. * Ability to develop and review electrical calculations and technical documentation. * Experience working in multidisciplinary environments. * Advanced English (spoken and written) at B2–C1 level. **Additional Assets (Preferred):** * Experience in Data Center or critical infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA‑942, IEC, NFPA, or NEC. * Proficiency with tools such as ETAP, Caneco, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, or Dialux. * Participation in construction phases, commissioning, or QA/QC activities. * Experience coordinating small teams or work packages. **What Benefits Do We Offer?** * Flexible working hours and remote work policies. * Access to a flexible compensation plan. * Opportunity to participate in a physical and emotional wellbeing program. * Our commitment is to provide job stability and long-term projects. * Professional development supported by training tools and a broad learning portfolio. * You will work in a collaborative environment where close interaction across disciplines facilitates idea exchange, proactivity, and autonomy when operating within complex project teams. * We promote equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion for all individuals, and we are certified as a Family-Responsible Entity (efr). Why Work With Us? At **Sener**, we offer you the opportunity to develop and apply your technical skills within a leading international engineering firm—and enjoy diverse professional experiences.
