Material planner

Description

In Arganda del Rey, a material planner is required to ensure production continuity and operational efficiency. Strategic inventory management is central: maintaining optimal stock levels, updating safety stock according to variable demand, and managing supply orders from creation through receipt. In addition, deviations between forecasted and actual demand are analyzed, and corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Systems such as SAP and MRP are used, and coordination takes place with suppliers and various departments. The environment is dynamic and international, involving multiple concurrent tasks. Analytical and technical capabilities are required to propose process improvements. The role contributes to cost optimization and continuous improvement of the operations area, participating in projects that directly impact efficiency. At least 3 years of experience in material planning or supply chain operations roles. Proficiency in SAP R3 and knowledge of MRP. Analytical capability and process orientation to identify deviations and propose improvements. Fluent English in a professional setting. Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
