Job Summary: Kyndryl is seeking a Cloud-Native architect with Azure experience to lead the design and modernization of solutions, applying DevOps and SRE principles, and mentoring development teams. Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well\-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive. **The Role** * **Cloud\-Native Architecture Design:** Design technical solutions using Azure PaaS and Serverless services (such as Azure Kubernetes Service \- AKS, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Event Grid), ensuring scalability, high availability, and resilience. * **Application Modernization:** Technically lead initiatives to refactor and migrate monolithic applications to cloud-based microservices and container architectures, decoupling business logic from data layers. * **Infrastructure as Code (** **IaC** **) and SRE:** Define and maintain standards for automated deployment using tools such as Terraform (preferred) or Bicep, and apply *Site* *Reliability* *Engineering* (SRE) principles to ensure observability and continuous performance. * **Implementation and DevOps:** Collaborate closely with development teams to establish robust CI/CD pipelines (via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), automating both the software lifecycle and underlying infrastructure lifecycle. * **Governance and Security from Code (** **DevSecOps** **):** Ensure that development and proposed architectures comply with corporate policies and established *Landing* *Zones*, integrating security from the earliest stages of development. * **Technical Leadership and Mentorship:** Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), guiding developers on cloud-native best practices and resolving complex technical blockers at both code and architectural levels. **Who You Are** * **Software Engineering Background:** Proven, substantial prior experience as a developer (Back\-end or Full\-stack) using modern languages and frameworks. * **Azure Ecosystem Expertise:** Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure compute, database (Cosmos DB, Azure SQL), and messaging services (Service Bus, Event Hubs). * **Automation and IaC:** Advanced proficiency in creating and managing infrastructure as code, with strong emphasis on Terraform for cloud resource provisioning. * **Containers and Orchestration:** Demonstrable hands-on experience containerizing applications (Docker) and managing them in production using Kubernetes (AKS). * **DevOps Methodologies and Practices:** Ability to design and implement complex CI/CD pipelines, focusing on continuous integration, automated testing, and zero\-downtime deployments. * **Recommended Certifications:** Holding official certifications such as *Microsoft* *Certified* *: Azure* *Solutions* *Architect* *Expert* (AZ\-305\) or *Azure* *Developer* *Associate* (AZ\-204\) is highly valued. **Being You** The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
