We’re waiting for you! ### **💼 What You’ll Do at Octopus** * **Drive strategic initiatives:** Translate the Head of Tech’s vision into actionable plans—and follow through to completion. * **Optimize operations:** Refine internal processes so the team can focus on what matters most. * **Stakeholder diplomacy:** Manage expectations across departments—each convinced their project is priority number one. * **Conflict resolution:** Act as a mediator in high-pressure environments, bringing calm, objectivity, and a holistic business perspective. ### **📝 What You’ll Need** * We seek a hybrid profile. Perhaps you’re a **Developer (Mid/Senior)** curious about management and business—or a **Product Manager** hungry for more strategic projects. * **Technical background:** You have experience in web development (if you know **Python**, you’re already halfway in; if you come from Ruby or JS, you’re also welcome). You won’t be coding all day—but we need you to understand engineers’ language. * **Natural communicator:** Your written and verbal communication is excellent—in both **Spanish and English** (we’re global, so bilingualism is essential). * **“Ego-free” mindset:** At Octopus, ego is the enemy. We care about what works—not who came up with the idea. If something doesn’t work, we scrap it and start over. * **Left hand:** You possess the patience and diplomacy needed to lead high-tension meetings—always keeping focus on the solution. * **Experience:** Minimum **5 years** of professional experience.
