From the **Farming** business unit, we are looking for candidates for the position of **R&D and Large-Scale Farming Operations Manager**.
**What will be your responsibilities?**
* Planning the production of experimental hybrids across the entire breeding program and executing it in collaboration with various teams across the company’s different centers (primarily Spain, Turkey, and Chile).
* Identifying and selecting products for advancement through testing phases, in collaboration with the Product Manager and commercial team at advanced stages.
* Proposing commercial varieties for inclusion in the catalog.
* Managing and executing the Breeding Program.
* Monitoring the portfolio of proprietary products and competitors’ products. Conducting trial field visits in collaboration with the commercial team in markets defined as key by the company.
* Maintaining pre-bases of the program.
* Assuming the role of process administrator to continuously improve processes within your area of influence.
* Managing teams linked to the Cases and Barbens R\+D centers regarding operations and farming.
* Managing relationships with third parties (either internal to the company or external) required for program execution.
* Willingness to travel.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agricultural Engineering, Biology, or Biotechnology, with solid knowledge of maize cultivation, farming operations, and tasks associated with managing a breeding program.
* Knowledge of breeding.
* Up to 2\-5 years of experience in agricultural sector companies or research institutions.
* Professional-level English proficiency
