




Job Summary: We are seeking a Cook for a senior residence in Igualada, responsible for menu preparation, accommodating specific dietary requirements, supervising the kitchen team, and ensuring quality control. Quality control and warehouse management Grup Carles collaborates with a senior residence in the city of Igualada to incorporate a person into its kitchen team to cover a long-term staff absence (until September 2026\). Plan menus and prepare and cook food. Address and carry out incidents related to resident care: diet changes, schedule adjustments, specific food-related requirements, etc., as instructed. Plan, supervise, and coordinate the work of kitchen assistants. Check food quality. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment. Regulate oven, grill, toaster, and other kitchen appliance temperatures. Use large-scale kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, or griddles. Inspect and clean the kitchen, kitchen appliances and tools, and service areas to ensure safe and hygienic food handling. Maintain traceability records for prepared food. Complete established center records. Respect and apply food handling hygiene standards and HACCP principles. Store all products delivered by suppliers. Conduct weekly warehouse checks to ensure no expired or deteriorated food items are present, and update inventory levels. Experience: 1 year. Extensive experience as a cook in collective catering settings is mandatory. Experience in collective catering, senior residences, or similar settings is highly valued. * Temporary employment contract (4 months) * Full-time schedule * Additional relevant information: Full-time or part-time hiring.
