Job Description
Ilerwork is seeking a Civil Works Site Manager for a major and prestigious construction company located in the Vall d'Aran (Lleida), specializing in civil and hydraulic engineering projects, among others. The company stands out for employing the most modern systems for calculation, design, development, organization, and planning of construction projects, and is characterized by its commitment to quality, adherence to deadlines, and seriousness in project execution.
Main Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive Planning: Detailed planning, management, and monitoring of the construction project (economic, time-based, and technical) until project completion.
* Economic Management: Cost control, budgeting, monthly financial closings, and procurement management.
* Quantity Surveying.
* Subcontractor Management: Soliciting quotations, preparing technical and economic proposals, conducting comparative analyses, and contracting subcontractors and suppliers—always supported by the administration department.
* Quality Control: Thorough supervision of construction execution, especially of high-quality finishes required by the project.
* Technical Coordination: Leading communication with the Technical Supervision Team (Architects, Quantity Surveyors) and the Client, resolving technical issues and proposing solutions.
* Team Management: Leadership of the site team (Foremen, Production Managers, if applicable).
* Resolving on-site queries or unforeseen events.
* Health and Safety: Ensuring strict compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Requirements
* Education: Technical Architect (Quantity Surveyor) or Engineer.
* Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Civil Works Site Manager on hydraulic projects (canals, dams, power plants, tunnels, pipelines, etc.).
* Availability to work in Lleida, specifically in the Alta Ribagorça and Vall d'Aran areas.
* Valid Driving License (Category B1\).
* 60-hour Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Certification. Preventive Resource training is desirable.
* Personal Skills: High degree of autonomy, leadership capability, and attention to detail and quality above average. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
