Job Description Position Available **HYGIENE SUPERVISOR** Location Sant Miquel de Balenyà County Osona Number of Positions 1 Category Supervisor Department Quality Working Hours Full-time, 40 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday (fourth shift), night shift Salary According to candidate assessment Contract Type Permanent Contract Duration Permanent Job Responsibilities: Technically coordinate the hygiene department according to established guidelines. Plan and communicate daily cleaning tasks to the team, ensuring their correct execution during the shift. Supervise compliance with the Hygiene Plan and maintain associated documentation up to date (records, ITs, PNCH). Manage and control consumption and stock of chemical and cleaning products, placing necessary orders. Keep the list of chemical products updated (technical and safety data sheets). Report and track non-conformities and incidents. Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper execution of scheduled cleaning activities. Plan and verify long-term cleaning frequencies in the cleaning plan, ensuring their validation. Conduct training for cleaning staff (GMP, GHP, operational procedures, and safe use of chemicals). Monitor hygiene indicators and report to the Hygiene Manager and Quality Department. Manage team-related matters such as holidays, PPE, and personnel-related incidents. Publication Date 17/02/2026 Requirements Qualifications Training in Food Industry Hygiene, Food Safety (BRC, IFS, HACCP) and Occupational Risk Prevention. Preferred qualifications and skills: Previous experience managing cleaning teams, preferably in industrial or food sector environments. Minimum education: Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent. Additional qualifications in Food Industry Hygiene, Food Safety (BRC, IFS, HACCP) and Occupational Risk Prevention are valued. Organizational and planning ability. Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Proactivity, service-oriented mindset, and results-driven approach.
