




Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented individual to manage poultry operations, supervising bird care and preparation from incubation through to shipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision of the hatching process and maintenance of optimal environmental conditions. 2. Chick classification and preparation of birds for shipment. 3. Maintenance of hygiene and biosecurity in facilities. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented person to oversee incubation and poultry management. You will be an essential member of the team, supervising bird care and preparation from their earliest stages, thereby ensuring their welfare and quality at every step of the process. Your responsibilities will include close observation of the hatching process and maintenance of optimal environmental conditions in hatcheries. This means controlling temperature, humidity, and other critical factors to ensure chicks hatch healthy. Afterwards, you will perform initial selection of newborns, classifying them according to health and vitality to ensure only the best specimens proceed further. Additionally, you will handle and prepare birds for shipment. This involves organizing transport boxes with the correct number of chicks and ensuring appropriate temperature is maintained during transit. Maintaining hygiene and biosecurity is paramount; therefore, you will closely follow cleaning and disinfection procedures for facilities and equipment to prevent any health issues. At least one year of prior experience in similar positions is required. It is essential to have your own vehicle for commuting to the workplace and immediate availability to start. The required academic qualification is Primary Education or Compulsory Secondary Education. Knowledge of feed operator tasks is considered an advantage, and a proactive attitude with commitment to assigned tasks is expected.
