With over 60 years of experience in the tourism sector, MedPlaya is a hotel chain specializing in holiday accommodations. We manage 15 hotels in key destinations such as the Costa Brava, the Maresme, Salou, Benidorm and the Costa del Sol, offering our guests an unforgettable stay. But MedPlaya is much more than hotels. We have an industrial division that includes central purchasing departments, industrial laundries and food services, ensuring quality in every detail. Currently, we have a team of over 2\.000 people. We need to hire a receptionist to join our reception team at the MedPlaya Hotel Esmeraldas, a 3-star holiday hotel located in Tossa de Mar. This is a seasonal hotel (open from mid-May to mid-September) with 107 rooms. Perform client reception and all related tasks professionally, proactively and responsibly. Monitor and plan room occupancy. Supervise documentation and reservations for guest arrivals. Register guests: check-in and check-out. Communicate any incidents to other departments. Provide guest assistance throughout their stay. Understand guest needs and offer recommendations. Other tasks related to the position. * Minimum 1 year of experience. At least 2 years’ experience performing tasks related to this position. * Higher Vocational Training Diploma (FP de Grado Superior) * English (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory. Knowledge of French, German and other languages will be highly valued. Advanced computer skills are mandatory. Tourism-specific training is valued.
